Open 24 hours, Lots of machines in a variety of sizes/prices. Dryers are free. Selection of Laundry products is limited so bring your own if you want a particular brand. You may not leave during washing.

I prefer top loaders and have been coming here but it's become difficult to wash for less than $3 per load. Signs on the $2 machines, in place for months, blame overpacking for their malfunction. Looking for another place where I'm not forced to wash my smaller loads in a front loader.

If you, as we did, need a reliable, safe, well-equipped, clean environment for your necessary chore of periodic laundry care, coupled with knowledgable staff and friendly, cooperative and responsive management, you would just have described the GOOD NEWS LAUNDRY on Noyes in Evanston, right next to a couple of great restaurants and a grocery store, nearby, within walking distance.You could not do better
