Dr. J McCracken at Cornerstone Health is the best chiropractor I have ever seen. After years of debilitating and unpredictable lower back spasms Dr. J was able to identify the causes of my pain and treat them quickly and effectively. Through a combination of his treatments and following his recommended exercises my spasms have become less and less frequent. Now, on the rare occasions when I have a spasm I see Dr. J and he is able to preempt what would otherwise be weeks of limited activity and pain severe enough to interrupt my sleep. I am so grateful and highly recommend Dr. J to anyone in need of chiropractic work.
Saying Dr. Fergus is a chiropractor is like saying a filet mignon it’s just a piece of meat. Dr. Ferguson is a detective, a super sleuth who solves problems traditional doctors cannot. When my shoulder hurt, others were looking at my shoulder, figuring I injured it. Dr. Fergus was able to figure out very quickly that my shoulder pain had to do with the placement of my laptop and he was on the money. Too many other stories to write about and so thankful for his treatments. Even my daughter benefitted: My nine-year-old had ankle pain and giant welts on her feet , who was seen by a traditional and well-known ankle clinic that after useless X-rays made her sit for 2 hours for a special scan and never got back to us with results until they charged me an $800 copay. Dr. Fergus took her to an open room and within moments had me watch her run. How did I never noticed that her knees were practically touching each other while her lower legs flailed out towards her hips? He was able to help us understand how her hips, knees, and ankles were out of sync. He was able to solve the problems and her pain and those welts went away. His techniques were top-notch and extremely effective, And he is a wonderful communicator and conversationalist to boot. When I went back to work full-time the saddest part was that I could no longer make it up to the Evanston clinic from the city and I continue to this day to secretly hope that he has opened a branch in the city! Dr. Benjamin Ferguson is definitely the filet mignon of chiropractors!
