We opted for the wide plank engineered hardwood for our new build 4 years ago which was came with a large upgrade price. Upon moving in, there were several concerns with the quality of the floors. Scratches, chips that were filled with a “putty” like substance, and wearing on the grain detail was apparent and random black stain marks (floors are not black?). Tom had come to check this all out and arrived with only a stain pen (not a custom match) to “fix” our issues. Fast forward 2 more years, same response to our problems. Bad experience from the start, and continues to get worse with time. Floors don’t hold up, stain “print” wearing off upon moving in, cracks scratches and other issues never addressed. Left to deal with these issues on our own. Very disappointing from a supposedly high end company.
