I go here primarily for strength training. With 4 squat racks and 4 deadlift platforms and a reasonable price, that alone is 5 stars for me. I’ve only ever had to wait for a rack to open up one time in the past 6 months I’ve been going here. I do wish they had more than 2 bench press stations but you can always bench in a rack if they’re both taken.
They also have a few unique pieces of equipment like a Nordic ham curl/sissy squat floor piece which I use religiously. I also occasionally run on the indoor track which I enjoy.

I am traveling for a family event in the area so decided to drop in to Pavillion for a quick training session. I compete in the Pan American Masters weightlifting championships within a month so my needs were for free weights and bumper plates. Pavillion has a fantastic set up with Hammer Strength half and full racks with weightlifting and deadlifting platforms. The locker rooms are great as well with no personal lock needed. Amazing facility and worth the minimal guest fee! Thank you Elk Grove Village for providing a great facility for the needs of your community!

Love the staff but the fitness manager has made some very questionable decisions recently with the gym "renovation" which has caused a lot of members to cancel their memberships. Before this change I would've given it 5 stars, I'll update my review if they make some changes.Edit- 12/20/23Back by popular demand and strong arming from the park district board, they brought back machines that they decided to get rid of. Not a bad place to workout at, good people.
