Great park district gym with new equipment and long time staff. Family membership for 20+ yrs. Staff cares about keeping this place good for residents and families.

Clean, good equipment, they have group classes, it gets very crowded sometimes which means you don't get equipment.

Edit: it's extremely crowded. Alot is teanages in group hanging around multiple equipment not doing anything on weekdays after work and on weekends it's the senior community that does the same. This is NOT a place to work out. The fees went up and I can't see paying what I'm paying for a socializing gym. If that's your thing great but I want to workout.

I go here primarily for strength training. With 4 squat racks and 4 deadlift platforms and a reasonable price, that alone is 5 stars for me. I’ve only ever had to wait for a rack to open up one time in the past 6 months I’ve been going here. I do wish they had more than 2 bench press stations but you can always bench in a rack if they’re both taken.

They also have a few unique pieces of equipment like a Nordic ham curl/sissy squat floor piece which I use religiously. I also occasionally run on the indoor track which I enjoy.

They are continuously improving the gym by adding new equipment as well. I hope one day they add a reverse hyper machine.

Overall, the gym is quite clean and I’ve never had any bad interactions with other members or staff!

Was treated rudely by the staff, decided juice was not worth the squeeze. Made to feel unwelcome and as if I was an inconvenience for even showing up.

Please and thank you go a long way when addressing members.

This place is meant for families and kids not a place to workout at.

Huge shoutout to Tiffany Greene and Mike Delgado for spending taxpayer money making all of the staff wear ugly uniforms. This has made my workouts 10x better at this dirty, amateur “gym” that has very limited equipment.

Manager Mike Delgado is very arrogant and dismissive of members.

The play area and merry go round is great fun for kids, you can bring in your own snack and or lunch there is many tables and chairs. It is a nice and clean place.
