I had a great experience at The Braiding Place in Elgin! I walked in without an appointment and was still able to get serviced, which I really appreciated. Fanta did my cornrow braids and she was amazing, very professional, gentle, and super nice throughout the whole process. She took her time and made sure everything looked neat and clean. I already got a couple compliments just within hours of leaving the salon.
I’m really happy with how my braids turned out and will definitely be coming back. In general, every staff member was nice and professional. I highly recommend asking for Fanta!

Even though I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes late, they were still able to put me in a chair. The moment I walked in all the ladies were friendly and had me in and out within a hour. Definitely have earned my business
