From the initial phone call to the end of both projects, We were very impressed and extremely satisfied with Singles Roofing. Jim and his team did our gazebo roof and front porch roof. They were early, worked efficiently, and were very responsive during both projects! I’ll be using them for all my future roofing projects!
Jim and his crew saved our home. after our roof was damaged by a severe storm and started leaking into the house causing interior damage, I spent over 6 months dealing with the insurance company I had been with for almost 30 years just to get screwed. Then the next call I made was to Jim, within a couple days he not only inspected the roof, gave a quote which was unbelievable, had his crew making preps. Within a matter of a couple weeks not only did his crew show up but Jim was right there on the roof as well. 2 days later I had a complete new roof (better then I ever expected for the price), they not only tore off the old roof, replaced all damaged decking and areas that were questionable so not to have any possible future issues, installed new drains, (I have a flat roof) pitched the roof so rain actually ran toward the drains unlike the previous company installed where the rain ran away from the drains and pooled. they totally cleaned up when they were finished, you couldn't even tell I just had a new roof installed, passed city inspection with excellence. THEN, Jim went above and beyond, he knew the amount of interior damage that was caused while playing games with the insurance company for over 6 months. he set me up with people who totally repaired/rebuilt several rooms and restored my/our home. Currently our garage roof is in need of replacement, the first and ONLY call was to Jim, within the next couple weeks we will have a new garage roof. As for this customer - you can waste your time calling around getting estimates or make 1 call to Jim @ Singles Roofing and be done.
I ran into some difficulties with an unethical roofer and poor workmanship, so I called Singles to get a quote on fixing what was done and completing the project. Jim came out the very next morning and spent an hour walking around the property, addressing all the flaws, and we worked out a plan to move forward with the work. I cannot yet speak for the workmanship, but he and his shingler seemed knowledgeable about the scope of the project and want to do it right by the City's Historic District codes. Definitely NOT salesman, but people who know the trade. I'll update once the project is complete.
