This gentleman George is the absolute best! He's old school, he's cool,and he knows his job. I see all these negative reviews and I just laugh. Most people nowadays have no sense of humor or the understanding of a genuine European demeanor. Show some patience. He doesn't do it for the money. All I need was a pair of scrub pants, hemmed, single layer. I think this is well below the quality of work that is traditionally done here, but over the phone he agreed to see me. When I arrived the door was locked so I had to knock on the window to get someone to answer the door. After the fitting I was told they would be done in a week, no mention of cost until I asked; $20 seemed a little high but close to the going rate. The item that concerned me is "Cash Only". He does not take any other forms or payment and no receipt was issued. Not even when I asked for one.
I came in with the expectation of only getting alterations to an "off the rack" suit I bought from a department store, but he was able to suggest a better looking suit that he sold in shop and easily make alterations to it. In less than 2 weeks he was able to alter the suit perfectly and was very professional. Not only that, but he has really reasonable prices for alterations. FYI this place is CASH only.Service: Alterations
