This hospital has EXTREMLY poor communication. Was told I had to do a COVID screening test a day prior to a scheduled surgery. Got there, waited in line at registration for 10 to 15 minutes, finally check-in, they advised to proceed up to the 2nd floor waiting room by the lab. Sat there for 10 minutes. Then lab tech comes out to tell me COVID screenings are no longer required. KSB is a 30 minute drive 1 way. So I was on the road for an hour, plus time wasted in the registration line and time waiting in LAB waiting room. This was also time taken from my job. My son has a 20 minute focal seizure. Neither the EMS OR the doctors would listen to me and no emergency medications to stop the seizure were given. Thank god I “ was adamant” about higher level of care. My son could have ended up with permanent brain damage because of their inconstancy and the ability to listen to what the parents were saying. Check out the doctors 3 options of recommendation. I hope they are ready for the lawsuit coming their way, so no other family ever goes through this
