Some had a minimum 1000$ job requirement, which was absurd. Family Fences replaced one section/board instead of making me replace entire section, which was very costly. “Lukas, the owner of ALS Remodeling, helped us update and finish our basement. We couldn't be happier with his work - he was always very communicative, respectful, and transparent about the work that had to be done. We've got an old house, so there were unexpected things found, and Lukas was always very honest about what needed to be done and what could be pushed off.Having worked with my fair share of GCs, the things that stood out to me about Lukas:- Project completed on time: We're expecting another child, and despite adding more things during the project, he was able to manage the timeline and add extra hours of work in order to get the project done within a few extra days of the original timeline.- Hard work ethic: Lukas and his father were always punctual - arriving at 7am, and working throughout the entire day until they were done at 4 or 5pm everyday.- Honest & Reasonable Budget: I do my research (for every purchase/service I make/hire) and Lukas was one of the most reasonable quotes and with one of the better knowledge bases.I learned through the few weeks we worked together that he could be trusted, and we'll continue to give him projects in the future, likely without having to get additional bids! There were 3 boards that my wife asked Todd if he could Replace? He said sure not a problem with in a hour or so his driver Chris was in our driveway with 6 boards Chris said mam take your pick? “We had our fence installed by Tru-Link which is now Peerless. It was a large fence job in the City. The price came is the same as the other quotes so we decided to go with a long time company. Soon after install we started having problems. It turned out our fence posts we only in 6-8 inches of concrete not the contracted 36 inches. our fence started to fail after the first year. I had multiple people come out from Tru-link/Peerless and always got the run around. This year, I e-mailed and a wonderful man Eric who is a supervisor came out a few days later and looked over the posts we were having issues with and agreed that something needed to be done. Within 1 week of speaking to him Marco's crew of 2 professional men came and switched out the posts. I am beyond pleased that the new management at Peerless fence has great customer service.“
