Oehler Funeral Home has been around a very long time. They provide excellent care for your loved one and treat them with much respect. It doesn't stop there either. Oehler's Funeral Home's staff know how difficult a time it is for the surviving family members as well. We were treated with respect, kindness and compassion as well. My family have utilized their services for at least 4 members of my family during my lifetime. The first time was for my brothers in 1964 and 1989. When we lost our parents we were living in California. When my Father passed (1998) and my Mother passed (2008), I recall the help they provided us with finding a local funeral home to take care of the preparations needed to have them transported back to Illinois for their wake and funerals. Oehler then made arrangements to transfer them from O'Hare airport to their funeral home in Des Plaines. The services were beautiful and even when there were some glitches (not by Oehler's), they found a way to make everything easier for our family. So if you are needing the services of a funeral home, I wouldn't hesitate at recommending Oehler Funeral Home. Their service, help, understanding, care and respect are not only for those who have passed away, but for the surviving family as well. If one had to rate them from a 0-5, I feel confident in giving them a rating of 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!!
