Appointment required for most services. Queue to the dispatcher took 10 minutes, bring enough required documents, then they may send you to photo sectionor counter section. Enough seating available. 15 counters. Took 45 more minutes before we were called for permit test. After they verify documents, did vision test..Paid $20 to cashier. Took test on one of the 6 plus computers. Its a clean center. Parking lot was full.

Temporary handicap parking tag - no appointment needed. Relatively quick process time but you shoukd double check what you need before getting there.

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my road test experience at the Deerfield Driver Services Facility (405 Lake Cook Rd).

The examiner, Bency, behaved in a rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful manner. She raised her voice at me multiple times and demonstrated impatience during the exam.

I stopped twice for safety reasons — once because a woman with two children was behind a vehicle, and another because a man was entering his car. These are situations that require caution and reduced speed according to defensive driving standards. However, the examiner treated my decisions as if they were mistakes.

Her behavior created an unnecessarily stressful environment and did not reflect the level of professionalism expected from a state employee conducting road tests.

Very nice experience. Took less than an hour, including written and driving test.

I was in and out of there in 20mins. Highly impressed. Very organized.
