I was recently hospitalized for a hip replacement, and found that I had greatly underestimated the impact of the procedure and my ability to care for myself at home. I was in a panic as North-Shore/Skokie hospital was going to discharge me the next day. A friend referred me to Jamie Shapiro and Companion Services (Deerfield). She quickly put my mind at ease arranged for someone to care for me my first night home. She also arranged for coverage the next 6 nights, by two caregivers. Although I wasn't sure what my needs were, I told Jamie that I'd rather have someone and not need them than need someone and not have them! All three women were absolute Angels! I was so grateful for their sweetness, compassion and skill, and I know my recovery was greatly enhanced by their help and the peace of mind they provided. I felt safe at home with their care and felt like I had 3 new friends! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Companion Services to anyone in need of short or longer term help. I know they will work with you to meet your needs and the staff couldn't be more wonderful. Highly Recommended!

They apparently engage in gender discrimination in seeking a female only driver for one of their care positions. I'm surprised this is even allowed. It reminds me of the white only ads that once existed. Very disappointing.

The staff was incredibly compassionate, professional and helpful when we contacted them when another agency failed us. Within one day, we were sent a caregiver to interview, one who met all our needs, and check all boxes, and has turned out to be a very caring and compassionate, friendly attentive caregiver for my mother. Thank you for your attention to details and helping us find a perfect caregiver. Greatly appreciated!!

A friend referred me to Companion Services and I cannot believe the difference in the care my parents are receiving. The caregivers are amazing! My parents are so happy and so well cared for. Companion Services is a terrific company. I needed 24 hour care for my elderly father and they sent professional and kind caregivers to fulfill this need. When my dad was eventually in hospice the caregiver was especially knowledgeable and supportive of my dad and my family. I felt so relieved to have such wonderful caregivers. The owners are supportive too and billing was easy to understand.

Just had my procedure, today. A+ across the board, INFINITELY better than Bosley. Staff is excellent. Dr. Katona is tremendous, Doc comes from HUMBLE background. Talking to Doc is like talking to your neighbor...the neighbor(s) that you like & are happy to see. Not that painful of a procedure, but if I had to do it over, I'd have taken the valium. They offer valium, I didn't want to uber there/back & I didn't want to tell family/friends I was getting a hair transplant. So I drove...don't drive, take uber and/or cab & take the valium. The pain's not bad, but you do, in fact, receive anaesthesia. I would've been more relaxed with valium. Again, Dr. Katona offered the valium, but I like to think I'm tougher than I actually am. Anyway, out the door after about 9 hours. The staff was excellent and gave excellent after care instructions, plus a goodie basket. 8 o clock at night, Dr Katona texts me, asks me how I'm feeling. I've had a bosley procedure, which was 80% worse. If you can get your teeth cleaned, you can get a hair transplant from Dr. Art Katona. Anyway, my opinion: Dr. Katona will take over the hair transplant market (I own a small busines). Athletes in the HALL OF FAME go to Dr. Katona. These athletes are MULTI millionaires who could go anywhere they want for a hair transplant. Deion Sanders is NOT from Oakbrook, Illinois, Nor did he play for the Bears, but he flew to Dr. Katona to get his hair transplant. See the commercials/youtube on Deion's reviews of Dr. Katona. You'll have a FULL head of hair & it's non-surgical. God bless Katona hair restoration!!
