“I'm in the shop every single week. Probably their best customer. Can't comment on haircuts, since they shave my bald head (it's OK I'm used to the stares, so just smile at me when you're there). However, I am really in the shop for trimming and shaping my beard, which is arguably more difficult (trust me I tried my best during Covid). Also, my son visits the shop monthly for a cut and always looks great afterwards. While Stephanie is my main technician (and that is the best description of the entire staff), I have always been extremely pleased sitting in any chair, when Stephanie isn't available. The shop is extremely clean (fastidious is a better description), everyone is talented, beyond nice and respectful, and the owner is frequently onsite. I honestly consider all of them as friends. Hard to make that comment about any business these days. I would never claim to be an expert reviewer of barber shops, but consider myself pretty adept at judging character. I have been a customer for over 4 years (more than 200 visits) and had my own son follow me. Not sure of a better endorsement than that.“

“I came in for a quick bang trim and was so impressed by Claire’s attention to detail and care. She took the time to ask how I usually style my hair and made sure everything would blend perfectly. She even did a complimentary dusting because she knew I had an upcoming vacation (such a thoughtful touch!!) This was my first time meeting her, but she made me feel completely comfortable and genuinely listened. Claire is patient, thorough, and incredibly talented. I highly recommend booking with her!“

“I have been here 3 times starting a couple of months ago. First haircut was with chair #5- I showed a pic for reference and asked for a mid fade. The final result was more of a high fade but haircut was solid. The barber’s skill was excellent and he did an amazing job on the haircut even if it wasn’t exactly a mid fade. I went back for a second time few weeks later, showed him the same pic and asked for the same - unfortunately, he went even higher with the fade and it was way too short on the sides and too high up. It may have been a language barrier as I believe he is only Spanish speaking. His skills are solid and if I had asked for a high fade , the haircut itself wouldn’t have been an issue. It looked good for a high fade ( just not what I asked for). I let it grow out and went back yesterday - thought about going back to chair 5 and asking him for a lower fade but didn’t want to risk it so I asked for chair #1,2,or3 . Ashor (chair #1) took me promptly and gave me the mid fade I was originally looking for. All the barbers seem like they know what they are doing. The price is great and I like that they take walk-ins as my former barber was very restrictive with his times that didn’t work for me anymore. I’m happy with Ashor’s Fade and will be making it my go to place for haircuts from now on.“

“I had an excellent experience with Birza. She did a fantastic job with my haircut and made sure to check in with me every step of the way to ensure everything was exactly how I wanted it.

I specifically asked for certain areas to be shaped using a razor, and her technique was incredibly precise and delicate. Honestly, I barely even felt when she was using it — that’s how skilled and gentle she was.

Her attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, and it’s clear she takes pride in her work and in making sure her clients leave happy.
