They handled everything—from carefully moving every single item (big and small), to photographing and cataloging it all, and relocating everything across the hall to a new apartment. What truly amazed me was how they set everything up in the new unit so thoughtfully that it felt like he had always lived there.
Once my father was settled, they immediately began taking care of the damage in the original apartment. All of this was done within just a few hours.
The crew was incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They made a very stressful situation so much easier for our family. I can't say enough great things about them. After an 8 hour day of errands and fun we came home at 5:30 on a Sunday evening to our kitchen ceiling raining like Niagara Falls. After speaking with our insurance company and spending hours waiting for one of their many “preferred providers” to reach out we elected to pick our own mitigation team and called Restoration 1. We reached out at 7:30pm, when towns around us had experienced massive floods, and we had a team in our home at 9:30pm. They stayed until 3:00am and were back again at noon the following day. From my first contact with the company, where a wonderful woman named Kari offered me sincerity and reassurance, to the team showing up and making us feel like they cared about our home and well being as much as we did…there are no words to describe…what is a job to this company was handled in a way that provided comfort as our home was falling apart.
