Receivers open very early, at 4:30 AM, allowing for fast unloading, sometimes within 15 minutes of arrival. Drivers park on the street, with overnight parking available. The forklift operators work quickly. For deliveries, especially paper rolls, instructions are to proceed on 14th Street and enter the gate. The facility is described as a nice place and is highly recommended for its efficient service.
They have multiple docks, but they were just using one. I got here at 7:25 for an 8 AM appointment and I just got back to the dock at 10:15 AM to get unloaded. The workers are super nice. Unfortunately, there’s only one guy loading today so he is overworked. He did say he starts unloading the paper rolls at 4:30 AM. There is parking on the side of the road on 14th St. as you come into the paper roll receiving.
Just know shipping is on the far left side- gps will take you to roll side which I was told manly is receiving side- there’s no signs that say receiving … check in is a bit wonky chock wheels turn engine off sit on these tiny seats next to office …
