My experience with Village Cobbler was incredible. I sent my Birks from Chicago to California and it literally took a week from shipping to receipt of the refurbished sandals. My timing was really good so it will likely take longer. But was super impressed with Keith’s communication and speed on the rebuild.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail is so good. I really debated just buying new Birks but so glad I didn’t. Mine have new cork and soles but the leather straps are broken in and soft. Way better than buying new and also feel good about not wasting good leather.
All in all, I give them five stars and a A++++
Super quick turn around time and very kind. First time getting shoes resoled + recapped ($100- but I’m glad I went to experts). The lady was also super nice and gets straight to business (: always appreciate directness. (Little before and after attached) !!!
Been about a year since my high heels were fixed and still hold up terrifically! Needless to say, this place SAVED ME when I had to attend a wedding in less than 48 hours and my high heel broke on my Brian Atwood wedges. I called ahead explaining my situation and took my shoes in. Needless to say, they fixed it in time for me for such a low price. Cannot recommend enough!!
