Due to a car accident at 8 years old I have been in and out of chiropractic offices since high school. The results were temporary and I was not making progress and my condition was not improving. Dr. Ash and the staff at Universal Wellness at 333 E. Benton Place were the first group of professionals that approached my condition as a whole - meaning not only did I have regular adjustments but also was placed on a physical therapy program (shout out to Michael!!) that I could complete both at home and at their office. In addition Dr. Ash and Michael take the time to explain how the body and its components work as a whole machine or system. Their explanation helps me understand why the pt is necessary and helpful. During one of my sessions I commented to Dr. Ash that I was used to living with discomfort and that it was affecting my active lifestyle, more particularly running. Dr. Ash responded that it was their goal to not LIMIT my lifestyle, rather get me to the point where I could continue the lifestyle that I wanted! Not only did that comment impress me and convince me to continue the program but it is working! I finally feel better overall, am sleeping soundly and back to training for my 10K.

Love this place. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Love the open flow of the appointments allowing you to cycle through your adjustment, treatments and physical therapies at your own pace. I fully appreciate the team’s willingness to find appointment times that work with my schedule and their flexibility should my schedule change. I 100% recommend UWS, especially the team at Benton Place, to anyone in need of chiropractic care

From the very moment I set foot in the Universal Wellness Source office, I have been the happiest person alive. After experiencing severe back pain (i literally could barely walk) and seeking help from the local VA to no avail, I decided to seek an opinion from a chiropractor. Dr. Ashlin and his staff have been nothing short of a blessing for me. I found the services on Groupon and didn't expect much for the price, but I was diagnosed and they started corrective treatment the very same day! Since I began treatment at Universal Wellness Source, I haven't had much pain (outside of slight tightness) and I intend to continue my treatment with them. The staff is very friendly and I feel like they care about each and every last person as if we were more than merely another patient. And did i mention that Dr. Ashlin is servicing me for free because I am a US Navy Veteran!! I recommend anyone that is looking for chiropractic services to start with Universal Wellness Source, I promise, you won't be disappointed.
