I've been to Jess a couple times for color and once for a cut. She's the friggin' best. Super nice and down to earth and gives me exactly what I want instead of trying to push me in another direction (which I've experienced at other salons.) I live kinda far but it's worth the trek!
I called on phone I was told my cut would be 64.00 and the cut was nothing like I wanted,it was suppose to be Below the Ear . It was cut above the ear and the style was nothing like the picture . I was told by the young lady she could do the cut . They over charged me and when told tje women did care 75.00 plus tip .I have sent several ppl here in the past . They let me know the other place closed and was conbined to this location 3049 N. Milwakee.
I first went to Twisted Scissors when a friend got a haircut with very unusual bold texture and I asked her who cut it. I had long hair (mid-back length) and was tired of it. So I went to Jess—and for the first time in my life got a short haircut that actually worked! Over the years, I've had Jess experiment with asymmetry, layers, all kinds of requests...
