I was a member of the first Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training class held at Studio 1002. I can’t say enough good things about the program and the studio! Kate is a wonderful teacher with so much knowledge not just about pilates, but also the human body. I learned so much working with her. Megan has done a wonderful job with the space itself. It is by far the most beautiful and well equipped studio in Chicago. If you are interested in a career as a Pilates instructor you must check out Kate. Or if you are interested in trying pilates, come to the best studio with the BEST instructors in all of Chicago, Studio 1002.

I started out with private sessions then reformer classes 3 years old and have been hooked since! The team of instructors are absolutely fantastic. The studio became my home away from home as the atmosphere is so comfortable, the equipment is top of the line, and again the instructors make you feel so empowered. I wanted to share what I was learning as a student with others so decided to take the instructors training that the studio offers. I completed the Polestar Pilates Instructor Training a few months ago. The instructors are top notch in the entire city. The only thing I would say could improve is making sure to start on time and maybe less talking and more attention to each client in classes and sessions too. I first started coming here for the classes with a friend 2 years ago and thought the waiting area was run-down and outdated. They have made improvements inside but still dark and outdated which is hard to justify the money spent for classes and sessions.
