I wanted to share that I had my first of what will be many deep tissue massages at Spa Pro Massage at 531 S Dearborn St. as the other google reviews have said, no frills and great prices. I’m a larger framed guy and went with the hour long deep tissue. Wendy asked for any problem or target areas and man did she focus in and provide actual relief to the point of muscle fiber twitches. Well, she seems to be doing pretty well, but I thought a positive review never hurts.
nothing fancy about the setup (this place is not about mood lighting or cucumber water)., but the massage was excellent.
The masseuse really knows what she’s doing. You will leave with that perfect “everything hurts in a good way” feeling where you can tell all the tension was worked out.
Wendy is the best! I see her weekly for 30 minute chair massage and always feel so much better when I leave. This is not a floofy spa massage, it's the kind of deep tissue work you get from a trained massage therapist.
It is a one woman shop so yes, she may answer the phone during your massage - but she'll answer when you call too and that's worth a lot from a small local business!
