Sew Special Design in Chicago is excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of work. Super friendly and caring owner.
We brought in two items. One needed a full zipper replacement on a winter coat and the other needed to be let out slightly at the waist. The coat fabric was tricky and I was honestly worried it would be noticeable, but they handled it very professionally. The zipper looks brand new and the winter coat alteration is completely seamless. You cannot tell that either coats were ever adjusted.

I’m SO impressed by this place! I thrifted a coat that was WAY too big for me. These guys tailored it to perfection and turned it into the coat of my dreams! I’m coming here for all my alterations from now on! Just amazing work!! I will cherish this coat forever!!!
