These guys are a total joke. The worked on a place at 1308 N LaSalle that had 31 city code violations. During the construction it was so unsafe that OSHA cited them for inferior and unsafe working conditions.When OSHA cited you it's $5,000 to the builder and $5,000 to the building owner.How bad do you have to be for OSHA to show up?Building rehab was quoted at April through October. Turned out to be the NEXT October. That's right, a 300% over run on time.It's been about three years no and the metal decking is rusting through.If you don't believe me look up the violations with the city and OSHA.

After I contacted the company, I was contacted a few days later by telephone by the manager and the owner. Both gentlemen expressed their disappointment in the aberrant worker's foul behavior. They promised to follow-up with the worker in question, including disciplinary action if they deemed it as appropriate. Although I don't know the final outcome, I am not particularly interested in the employee being fired. I'm more interested in how he reforms his behavior going forward. I'm certain the company manager and owner speaking with the employee will impress on him improved behavior in the future. I thank these individuals for their follow-up calls.

I selected S Construction Co to build my new home. I am very sad that it has been over three years since the house was completed and the roof leaked water into the house from the first day. They have sent out over several roofing contractors, and they have not fixed the leak yet. I reach out to Saki (owner) every time it pours rain to let him know that it is leaking. They keep sending out a roofer to replace shingles and caulk up some areas around the chimney, but when it pours rain, the leak is still there. More than three years later, the leak was become worse, I have mismatched shingles on my roof, rotted drywall, and mold (and bugs) behind the drywall in the bedroom that stinks really bad. S construction is not done a single thing about the rotted drywall and mold/bug situation since I reported to Saki several months ago, and several times. This has become a health hazard by now, and they are ignoring my complaints. I keep having to chase Saki down to complaint and have him to schedule a repair service call every time it pours rain. They are very non-responsive to my emails and phone calls, and seems that they are not very willing to put a final resolution to this issue. I have paid them in full, but I did not get the full service delivery and customer service that any customer should receive when they are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. My bottom line review of S Construction Co is poor quality work from them (and their subcontractors) and customer service is does not exist with them.
