About CHICAGO BATH HOUSE
Chicago Bath House, a traditional bathhouse dating back to 1906, offers a unique experience in the Wicker Park neighborhood. The establishment has undergone a modern renovation while preserving its traditional values. Guests can enjoy a range of services including saunas, hot tubs, and platza treatments. The bathhouse also features a full bar, restaurant, and salon services such as tanning and scrubs. While some guests found the restaurant's cuisine to be lacking, others praised the tasty menu options, with mentions of the food being "fire" and popular among professional athletes. The overall relaxing atmosphere, including an eucalyptus steam room and salt sauna, enhances the experience. The staff is courteous and guides newcomers through their first visit. With excellent sauna facilities, including a wet sauna, dry sauna, steam room, cold plunge, and hot tub, Chicago Bath House remains a popular destination for those seeking a rejuvenating experience. Guests appreciate the all-day access for a reasonable cost, allowing them to recline, take naps, and enjoy the amenities until closing time.
Everything about this place screams relaxation. The eucalyptus steam room and salt sauna were amazing. The staff guided me through the experience as a first-timer, which I really appreciated. The massage was world-class.
What an exhilarating experience. The saunas, the cold shower, the steam room and the cold plunge pool. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you.
