My family recently had a personal bag go missing on a flight into Chicago. Once the airline finally recovered the bag they paid to have the bag shipped overnight to us through FedEx. However, what was supposed to be an overnight delivery turned into a weeks long mystery as it went missing under suspicious circumstances. After exhausting and extensive exchanges with FedEx and their investigative team, they concluded that they could not find the bag and were ending their search. I pressed... and they reopened, and closed, the case several more times over the course of a month, ultimately giving up and then ignoring my requests to continue looking.
