R & W Medical Center provides a helpful and patient-centric experience. The friendly front desk staff assist with paperwork and printing. The drug screening process is efficient, with apologetic staff for any wait times. Kristie, the drug screener, stands out for her understanding, patience, and professionalism, making patients feel well cared for.
Dr Akhter is such a compassionate and great physician. During my time there I learnt so much from him about patient care. He deeply cares for his each and every patient and will give you all the time to talk about your health concerns.
I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a primary care physician or if you looking to gain clinical experience as a student.
Dr. Syed Akhtar is truly exceptional. He is to the point, highly efficient, and delivers holistic care with genuine compassion. Despite his efficiency, he takes the time to patiently address every concern, ensuring you feel heard and cared for. He has been the best mentor I’ve had in the US, guiding me with both professionalism and kindness. Honestly, he made my stay in Chicago far more promising and fulfilling. I’m deeply grateful for his guidance and care. I highly recommend him!
Heads up! This was the best experience for me as a learner. Dr Akhter is one of a kind as a mentor and physician. He is very kind and takes time to really listen to his pts, not just hear. As a student, I get to observe and learn procedures under his guidance . I highly recommend him as your family and adult care physician.
