The backstory, though, is that my Ecuadorian-American partner has long had his hair cut here by countrywoman, Rosario, the owner. He’d raved about her keen eye for hairstyles, and her amazing talent with clippers and a her razor.
I always listened to him as he talked her up but had no interest in going, as I already had a more traditional barber. Moreover, I worried that because my Spanish is quite primitive, I’d be at a disadvantage in this salon.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Rosario’s for many years now. Haircuts at other places have never been so meticulous. She pays attention to detail and has always kept the customer’s concerns in mind. While I wait, I usually see others leave their chair very happy and confident. I would give her 6 stars if I could.
