I have been getting my hair cut at Jon's for over 10 years. That should tell you something. This is an old fashioned barber shop with two great guys, John and Marty. Both are friendly and quick with a joke and the typical barber shop banter. Their are too few places where guys can socialize and get a very professional, smart looking haircut. Call ahead as walk-ins are on a space available basis only, but you will not be disappointed.

I had a very good experience here. Jon is very talkative and I had a very pleasant time in his shop. He has been there since 1965 and is a great guy. He must have spent almost 25 minutes cutting my hair and took care of all the details. Then he does a razor shave for the neck, it feels great. I went on a Saturday morning and paid $16 for the cut. It is a little more pricey than I hoped for, but you do get FANTASTIC service and a very friendly guy cutting your hair. I love my haircut, his time and patience definitely show! I definitely recommend this place! There is meter parking right in front of the shop, but if you make a right at the street right by his shop, there is plenty of free parking in the neighborhood (I didn't see any permit signs there).

Five stars. Fantastic local barber, dues it right, old school. To the reviewer who gave three stars because they were closed on two consecutive days, those are their days off. Tuesday-Saturday is when they do business. Go in on one of those days and you'll do just fine.
