If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Rosario was such an awesome help, I was done and wrapped up within 15 minutes on the phone with him. I am from Philly, so even though I couldn't go in person, he made it a point to go above and beyond over the phone. Could not recommend more!
I’m fairly new to Chicago and had no idea who to trust with filing my taxes in a new city and state. I was referred to The People’s Tax Service by a former employer, and I’m so glad I was. Within the same year, I had moved states, bought a car, changed jobs, and had both W-2s from two states and multiple 1099s. I had no clue how to file all of that on my own.
Louis called me back immediately and got me in for an appointment within a day. He took the time to explain everything, step by step (taxes are definitely not my thing), and made the entire process feel manageable. I really appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, and the very fair pricing.

I can’t say enough good things about People's Tax. I first found them after a stressful attempt to file my taxes online with H&R Block. I even walked into the local H&R Block office, but the quote I got (around $400) felt steep for what I needed. Thankfully, People's Tax is right around the corner—and they quoted me $250 for the same work, plus added both a neighborhood and first-time customer discount. Total win.
