About Pain Stop Wicker Park

Pain Stop Wicker Park is a business that offers quality massage services, according to the reviews. The rooms have dividers that don't fully reach the ceiling, allowing guests to hear other clients, but still providing enough privacy. The service could be improved by upgrading the paper table liners and towels to sheets. The draping felt like an afterthought, and the bedside manner was a bit odd, with the therapist seeming thrown off by the customer's health concerns. However, the massages themselves are excellent, with one customer describing the work as "incredible" and leaving a nice tip. Another regular client, Isabel, is praised for her special massage techniques that have improved the customer's body and skin. Overall, the business provides good quality massages, but could benefit from some improvements in the amenities and customer service aspects.

Great healing deep tissue massages! It can hurt a bit at times to get a deep tissue massage, but when I have deep issues it's the only way to release severe knots or strains (also has helped with migraine headaches). Sometimes the masseuses literally walk on your back. It can be hardcore deep tissue beat down, but it doesn't have to. Just ask your technician to be gentle and it is very relaxing. They are very intuitive to what your body needs. This is not a soothing spa. It is a therapeutic Chinese Medicine / Acupuncture and Chiropractor (with massage as part of your treatment) office. The set-up is like a giant loft with walls that do not go all the wall up to the high ceiling and curtains in the doorways. Yes, you do hear foot traffic from the hall or occasionally the other clients talking. This lack of total privacy does not bother me, so I am still giving it five stars.

Great place to get a message and they even have a doctor on site for consultation for chronic pain.
