I cannot stress this enough but I drink a lot of iced coffee. The amount where, yeah maybe I WON'T be able to afford a house. And this cold foam cold brew? is one of the best I've had. So lucky I needed a place to work for a couple hours while on a recent trip to Chicago. The staff were super friendly. The place really busy but had a great office energy on a monday morning. The seating even gave you options to be a little secluded or join others. It wasn't pretentious at all for a place that encourages coworking. The downside of my visit? I live in Charlotte.

If you missed this place walking down Michigan Avenue, I could forgive you as the signage is pretty small and the door is hidden in a vestibule. But you'd be missing out! This is a great spot for a coffee while working or reading. Lots of table space throughout along with wifi. Coffee is a special blend from metric and they have a decent selection of pastries along side quiches, mocktails, and your standard specialty drinks. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to visit again but it's worth stopping if you live nearby.

The baristas seemed friendly. We got there close to close so couldn't stay too long, but it was the perfect cozy spot for a rainy afternoon! With both couches and tables, there are options for reading, chatting, or getting work done. My vanilla latte was tasty, selected from multiple decaf options which I appreciated.
