I started out with a phone call consultation with Samantha, and by just describing my hair, she already had multiple ideas of what would look good and sent me inspo pictures almost immediately. At the hair trial, Samantha made me feel comfortable, heard, and let me try out a couple different looks. On the day-of, we decided to switch the look up a little bit, and it was truly perfect! Lia did a FANTASTIC job at hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and my mother in law at my April 2024 wedding. It was a complex intercultural wedding - two ceremonies in one day with hair and makeup changes in between — but Lia handled it like an absolute pro and brought a calming presence to the day. I loved the way my hair and makeup looked and would most definitely recommend to any other bride.

I loved working with Nika Vaughan for our wedding! Kristina (makeup) and Nora (hair) were both so incredible, friendly, and fun - everyone who got their hair and makeup done looked amazing. I had a makeup preview with Kristina and it went so smoothly - personally, I wanted something a little lighter/more natural and she gave me a couple options and was very communicative throughout the process. Since I have a pixie cut and was keeping it pretty straightforward, I just chatted with Nora before the big day (rather than doing a hair preview) and she was also incredibly friendly and helpful (and did lots of long hairstyles day-of for family and friends as well).Communicating... read full review
