Was on a road trip and needed a haircut downtown by where I was staying. Expensive place next to me wouldn't take me as a walk‐in until 12 noon. Ron took me right in around 9am.. Great cut and conversation. Fair price. Thanks!

I took my 13 year old son here today for the first time. I called first and the barber told me he wasn't taking appointments today and to just come on in. So we walked over and I was surprised that we only had to wait about 10 minutes for the barber to finish up with the customer before us. It was a Saturday so I was exactly a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised. The whole experience was great. The barber was professional, personable and welcoming. My son has very think hair with a cowlick. His hair can be challenging to cut, but he got a great haircut for $25. We will definitely be back. It is cash only so be prepared for that.

It's an old school barbershop run by a man who's been at it for 50 years. You'll first notice a copy of Chicago Tribune from July 1969: "MAN LANDS ON MOON". The place has lots of reads ranging from philosophy, movies, sports, history (and of course, dirty mags.) Ron is an armchair philosopher and has an opinion on every topic, gives a great no-frills haircut for $25, and is extremely pleasant and fun to chat with.Can't say enough good things about this place and I wish more people would support a local business like it during this challenging time.
