Mayi is by far the best dance school in chicago (i have attended maybe 6 over 15 years). This is a place with a wa atmosphere where you get to have fun, learn, exercise and meet people. Here at mayi I have taken multiple levels of chacha, salsa, swing, bachata, tango, 2step. All instructors are truelly great but my favorites are definitely Stephanie and Dawn. My wife and I also also hired Stephanie for private classes to prepare us for the first dance at our wedding and we were very happy with the results. Stephanie's husband, Shawn, sometimes attends her classes and helps out which also elevates the experience.

I have not been to this place, but I do know of Johnathan Hazelton he is a amazing instructor. He was our instructor at Arthur Murray for 6 years he is a great guy and he definitely knows his dances. He is very patient and understanding. would recommend him without a doubt.
