Mane Space

I didn't realize the there was a hair salon hiding in the north end of the Loop. Mane Space is up in the Garland Building on the 18th floor. It's a small salon but it doesn't feel crowded. I like that the salon seems to Claire a multicultural clientele. I came to see Doni (@hairsmittenbysmith) and she is great. I got a blowout but she's a colorist so she can do that too and just about anything hair related. We talked about extensions... and honestly, I think I may get them. Why not do something new and fun for a bit? My hair is long but I would love to have waist length hair. This nondescript salon is super easy to get to if you use CTA! Just take about any line and hop off at the Washington Street stop. You can park here, since there are garages all over the place and there's street parking I'd you're lucky. Right outside the building on Wabash there's Macy's valet and another valet across the street directly in front of the Garland building. I love that it's so close to my workplace so I may have to pop in for a bit if style help on my lunch break!

Such a hidden gem in the Loop that I wish I had come across eons ago. Multicultural, professional, relaxed, and family like atmosphere. You can't go wrong here, and you won't be disappointed.

Emily always does a great job cutting my hair. Mane Space is a perfect location for me too, just a few blocks from my shop. Everyone there is very nice and the views of the lake are fantastic.
