I recommend Manal Studio without reservation. The team and service are exceptional. You should go there for your next cut or style. (I write this review as a man who has typically sought professional cuts.)
My recommendation is based on fifteen years of service (at least) and a good amount of market research. I have been a client of Manal's for nearly fifteen years and have followed her through three different locations. Lincoln Square, to Skokie, and now to the current location. Adorable neighborhood salon. I love the botanical smell of the Aveda products when you walk in. Went in today for the first time and Lety low lighted and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Enjoyed the scalp and hand massage during the wash. Will be a new regular here.
Was in search of a salon near me that allowed walk-ins for a quick color. My hair is two-toned from a color back in October and have been pushing to get my hair done as maintaining light hair breaks bank. I called Manal Studio and even spoke with Manal herself for a quick over the phone consultation and walked over soon after. I was greeted upon arriving and offered water before Manal confirmed what I had wanted, tbh, I just needed a self-care day and to feel pampered —- and that is what happened.
