I've been going to Lux Nails for a few years now. They've never let me down!! They have a lot of chairs for mani and pedis so the waiting time usually isn't bad! The longest I've waited was a busy Saturday morning and the wait was only about 20 minutes. I always get a random tech and honestly, they're all really good. The staff is kind and they're upfront with their pricing. Highly recommend!
The space is clean and very efficiently run. I’ve had good experiences except my last one. I was looking for a bright neon color from a picture and she was pulling pastels. Then I asked her not to cut my finger nails, just file them. She cut them all off. I was frustrated. Lastly, the polish didn’t last a whole day before chipping. I didn’t get “no-chip” because I’m trying to keep the strength in my nails. I’m doing normal day to day activities. This is what they look like after 2 days… pretty disappointed.
My nails turned out pretty and well-done, but when I arrived, I showed them a design and refused to do it without explanation. They simply told me I had to do a single color and were quite rude. While I was already seated, I noticed on their TV that they had done many designs before. I asked about the issue with my design, and they informed me that the nail polish I wanted was not available. I looked for another design, but they told me it had too many colors and that I would have to pay an additional $50. The design was quite simple, but I had already been there for 30 minutes.
