Went to LaRon years ago for my wife's engagement ring (December 2015) and wedding band (January 2017). Larry did a phenomenal job for us with a custom designed engagement ring and band that matched flawlessly. Highly recommend!

My dad first told me about LaRon over 20 years ago, and since then I've sent friends and colleagues to buy jewelry for all occasions. Finally it was my turn: my grandmother's ring, circa mid 1940s, needed some TLC, including a stone replacement. I picked up my ring today, and it is absolutely lovely. I already have a couple of other jewelry projects in mind. Other family members have also purchased jewelry here, especially engagement rings. Everyone has been thrilled, including me. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I bought my engagement ring from Larry at La Ron Jewelers. He took us through the whole process from beginning to end and he really earned our trust with his professionalism and experience. He knew that I was eager and was ready to pick the first diamond I saw but he listened carefully to what we wanted and made sure to find the right diamond for us, and even designed it to my liking. I'm and happy to be supporting a small business, and I know where my setting and diamond are from instead of a chain place like Zales or Kay. You know your money is being well spent compared to places with preset rings. I love my engagement ring and the craftsmanship that went into it. I will be going back for more pieces in the future. I did my research before and met with 5 other jewelers in Chicago before landing on La Ron. It came highly recommended by my neighbors. My fiancé and I are a young couple and have never needed a jeweler so I felt safe I'm my decision for picking La Ron. Other jewelers seemed too aggressive to make the sale or to have our business and they didn't make the experience personal. If you are just starting out the process of looking for a jeweler, let me save you the hassle I went through. And if you do pick La Ron, I truly hope your experience is as positive as mine was.
