I have the hardest time finding salons that actually care about me and my hair rather than just doing whatever I book and then trying to upgrade services to get more money. Well, I have finally found the salon that actually cares. I booked an appointment today for a bayalage and haircut. I knew my hair was in rough shape after years of box dye but I didn't understand how bad it was. Salma did a patch test to see how my hair would lighten and explained the process to me. Unfortunately, my hair didn't lighten and she was afraid if left on any longer, my hair would break off or it wouldn't change the color. She consulted with Asif and he came and took a look at my hair. He explained we needed to do a whole color to create a blank slate and if I wanted bayalage today, it would probably be patchy and streaky. So instead of just allowing me to jump into the expensive bayalage that might have destroyed my hair, they suggested a lesser cost option that was much healthier for my hair. I am SO IMPRESSED. Seriously, they genuinely care that their customers are happy and they both did such a great job of explaining exactly why they were suggesting what they did. Salma listened to my concerns with my color and skin tone and made an amazing mix of chocolate brown to help tone down my pink undertones in my face. Then for my haircut, she listened to exactly what I wanted, which was a small trim, long layers, and side bangs (which has proven difficult for most salons). I am incredibly happy with how my appointment went today and look forward to having this as my permanent salon and will definitely return to Salma! Thanks so much for saving my hair and making me feel beautiful!

I've been coming here for a long time. My hair is kinda my hallmark feature, but it isn't easy to cut. It's straight underneath, curly on top, super thick and I have a lot of it. Asif knows what he's doing. He is a hair whisperer. And yes, you're paying for what you get. I drive into the city and will continue to do so, as this is something that just anyone can do. And he does it so so well. He doesn't push unnecessary services, he respects the hair that he's given. Definitely recommend.
