Jonathan is a master of his craft. The store is immaculate, blending a modern appearance with well-thought-out touches of antiquities and homages to old-fashioned barbershops. Jonathan was a pleasure to talk with throughout the trim. He has an essence of realness about him and an evident love for Chicago. I have been looking for someone to get my beard right for the last 1.5 years, and I believe I have found that person in Jonathan.
Set up an appointment here cause this is one of the few places I’ve gone to where their barbers know what they are doing. I’ve had two appointments with Justin in the same month and the guy listens to what you want and takes his time. Clippers or sheers, he left it clean.
Spots like this are under appreciated in Wicker Park considering nearby you have Taylor barber, old town barbershop and Floyd’s. I’ve been to all of those other shops and in comparison with Jonlegendhands, you might as well ask your aunt to cut your hair or go to a Supercuts.
