I have used Jim and his teams services for all my accounting needs since 1986. They have consistently performed beyond my expectations year over year. I have heard some folks say that it's difficult to get him on the spot when you need him, but he's a smart busy guy and anyone who thinks that's an obstacle should take a deep breath and recognize that he prioritizes his (and yours) immediate actions, and without fail updates everyone in time, every time. I've had the same nervous tension about filings and accounting for 40 years and never got left hanging. I have two years left before I'm planning retirement and I'm hoping he doesn't retire first!
He's the best! Because of that...He's busy. Someone complained about him not answering his own phone??? How would you feel if you were sitting with him doing your taxes and he had to stop and answer the phone? He has an answering service. Why would he need a secretary? To offer you water? Keys to the bathroom? If some of these reviews cause you not to call, that's your loss. Regarding some of these reviews, maybe 'They' were the problem...Remember, there are 2 sides to every story. He can't hold all of our hands. I've been with him 20 some years, never had a problem. Be proactive, make your appointment early And don't call him during March and April. He's BUSY!
