I went to see John-Michael seeking relief from some severe neck and shoulder issues. John-Michael is incredibly kind, patient, thorough, and professional. He went above and beyond and then some, I believe he spent at least 90 minutes on me. I can not say enough good things about John, from kindness to technique. Hands down for me the best massage/therapy I have ever enjoyed and experienced.

I've been a fan of John-Michael for years. I really like his personalized, sensitive approach to massage: he checks in with you before the massage to see how you're feeling, ask about trouble spots, etc., then after to see how you're feeling. His massage is strong and confident but not hard or painful. And no chit chat during the massage! (I've hated when others have talked during massages). His new space in Andersonville is lovely: comfortable, clean, calming. To date I've referred two friends to John-Michael and both have really liked him and continued seeing him for treatment.
