Had such a great time hangingout at the Chicago Dragon Boat Club. Was with then twice.Once at their boathouse on Weed Street and the 2nd time at Ping Tom Park. Was FREE both times. What a great workout!!!! And these peeps aint no joke.Im a very devout kayakfisherman.Im the type that goes kayaking even in winter.Have seen my share of storms out there kayaking Lake Michigan.I kayak to the extreme. On my first visit it was raining HAAAAARD.I was supposed to be there at 10am.I was there at 9:30am.It was literally POURING.I saw nobody there when I got there.I was thinking that FOR SURE nobody would show up for paractice due to the HEAVY HEAVY rain. Then at about 10am I heard screams coming from the river. These guys were paddling hard and sounded all pumped up!!! It was THEM!!! These people are HARDCORE!!!! My kinda people!!!! Rain or shine, hot or cold WE'RE PADDLING!!!! What a great time I had.Definitely considering joining their team in 2019.I would be honored.
