I love this studio! I appreciate that it's geared toward adults of all abilities and bodies. I always feel supported and never judged and feel totally comfortable being in the space. I also love that they will still honor your class spot even if you have to miss it. They also have a fantastic deal for new students, and I recommend them to everyone. It's right off the red line and is fairly easy to find street parking (depending on when your class is!).
Love this little neighborhood gem. The Tango classes are super fun. Instructors Katie and Eugene are kind, supportive and have a thorough knowledge of the dance and can impart their knowledge in a very accessible way. Highly recommended!
I have been taking classes at Glenwood Dance Studio since October 2015. It's a true gem: the teachers are excellent, the students are friendly and welcoming, and the supportive community environment matches no other place I've ever taken ballet. The studio believes that everyone can dance and that isn't just a statement on the website. There's also opportunities for students at all levels to perform, which is a unique chance for those who are interested (and there's no pressure in case you are not interested!). I've recommended GDS to many people over the years and felt it was finally time to leave a review expressing what a special place it is.
