Need a great summer highlight?! Contact Toula at French Flair (773 539-3247). Not only are her prices incredibly reasonable (my last full head highlight was unbelievably reasonable, even with a hefty tip), she's incredibly talented. I used to go to an upscale fancy pants salon in Burr Ridge and the highlights were good, but even partials were pocketbook breakers. This is not a fancy salon, but offers an array of services (I can only speak of highlights with Toula). She is sweet, knowledgeable, and very gifted with color. The salon is in the east Lakeview neighborhood. Parking might be tricky (I walk), but it's worth an Uber! When you make your appointment, tell her Joy said hi!

I took my father for a haircut and had a fantastic experience. Jim was very professional and the haircut was excellent. My father has lived within a few blocks of the place for decades, but never tried it -- a hidden gem!Service: Haircut

Don't judge a book by its cover! French Flair is on a side street on the first floor of an apartment building and does not look like one of the trendy downtown hair salons, but owner Jim is a master of color, a wonderful hairstylist and just a really nice guy. I've never received so many compliments on my hair color and haircut! This is one of those special finds that doesn't come that often; you'll leave there feeling like a million. Give him a chance; you won't be sorry!
