Eye Mechanix is a full service Eyecare center in Lincoln Park Plaza, Chicago. The business delivers exceptional customer service in a welcoming and professional space that is clean and well organized. From the moment of arrival, the experience feels friendly and efficient. Staff members like Ezra and Adam are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond with a smile. Dr Gary is very nice and informative, while Dr Randy Ricketts is the best ophthalmologist, being kind, patient, and professional. The optical boutique offers a wide selection of really fun, urban, and classic handmade designer eyeglasses. Everyone working is stylish, and the team explains everything in detail. Highly recommended for anyone in the neighborhood looking for an eye doctor.
Dr. Ricketts is super. The staff is very knowledgeable and they have the best selection of frames in the city
I highly recommend Eye Mechanix in La Grange. I was in search of a new optical center that was local when eye mechanix moved into downtown La Grange. I have an 8 y/o daughter with strabismus and an unusual prescription who requires glasses at all times. Having a local center with kid friendly staff is a must Eye Mechanix has fun frames and they offer current/up to date technological options for lenses. I also have to give a shout out to Marie at the La Grange location whose patience with my 8 y/o daughter (who was fitted for contacts) was of great appreciation. I have seen such a confidence boost in her while while engaging in dance and soccer now that her peripheral vision has been corrected. Something that her glasses/corrective lenses couldn't always help with. Marie would not allow my daughter to go home with the contacts until she could independently put them in and take them out at the eye center.
I just received my third pair of glasses from Eye Mechanix. I couldn’t be happier with them and Dr Randy and his staff! They really went above and beyond to find my sister and I EXACLY what we wanted and needed! Thank you again Dr Randy!!
