Experienced masons capable of making the best looking brickwork. After acquiring a building with deferred maintenance, needed to hire a lot of masonry repairs, and did them all via PJ with Continental - brick replacement and repointing, parapet wall rebuild, lintel replacement, arch rebuild, limestone, glass block windows. Separated into multiple jobs over a few years. Considered several companies before starting first job, but only Continental made sense, and once the first tranche was done, it made sense to keep working with them.PJ is the greatest Project Manager to work with. If i ever need masonry repairs or rework on another building in the future, i would hope...read full review
Continental was wonderful to work with! PJ was very patient in explaining the different options for addressing several lintel repairs/replacement, re-setting limestone caps with a proper drip edge, and replacing expansion joints in language that I could understand. Working with PJ has been exceptional! I have had multiple masonry contractors look at my splitface block building, and I have previously been scared to death by the horrors involved in dealing with this type of architecture. PJ is extremely knowledgeable, and he was able to put me at ease with the work that was ultimately necessary to take care of my building and restore it to its previous condition. He educated me and helped me make the right decisions that I ultimately felt confident about. He is a very well-spoken and trustworthy contractor. I highly recommend working with him, especially because in situations when you need to deal with masonry repairs--lintels, sealing, flashing, glass blocks, cracks etc.-- I'm sure you're already a little freaked out by the prospect of having to figure out what is necessary for your project. PJ is your man!PS- He even accommodated my expedited emergency timing for repairs since my home was being sold and about to go through inspection. Thank you!
