I want to express my gratitude to Amada Senior Care for my recent experience with their services. I was unable to walk after breaking my ankle and it was impossible for me to care for myself and my husband, who has Alzheimer’s Disease. Amada placed a wonderful home health aide who was reliable, knowledgeable and skilled in the care of older persons. Adam and Jennifer were very responsive to the inevitable difficulties of coordinating care and went above and beyond to help us out when it was necessary. I am a retired Family Nurse Practitioner and have worked in Rehabilitation for many years. The most critical factor in the home placement of any elderly patient is the presence of a caregiver in the home. In our home that is me and because I was unable to do what was necessary our ability to stay safely in our home was at risk. I am grateful that Amada was able to help us over that period until I was able to again do the necessary caregiving for myself and my husband. My husband has Alzheimer's and I would not have been able to keep him at home for as long as I did without the professional, caring help and expertise we received from Amada. All of the caregivers who came into our home were top of the line. They engaged my husband in activities, took such good care of him and made him feel safe. Plus I can not say enough about Adam who navigated the long term care insurance process for me. I would not have gotten the benefits without him. I cannot praise Adam and Jennifer enough.
