Love, love, LOVE this salon. I came to The Owls Nest after having a really negative experience at another salon in Chatham (stylist didn't listen, over-processed hair, some hair fell OUT!). I talked to Allie about what had happened and she was so kind to me. She spent a lot of time listening and asked me exactly what I wanted. The consultation felt collaborative. She was very gentle with my hair and didn't tangle or mat it (fine hair but I have a lot of it, and it's very long). She really took her time and I am so happy with the result. WOW! I was so impressed with Allie!!! Everything I had done was to perfection. It’s probably the best haircut I’ve ever received. Her idea of style is impeccable.She was extremely professional. My appointment today was truly an experience. From the atmosphere to the customer service, this hair salon receives 5 stars from me. I highly recommend Allies services for your hair. She encompasses all aspects of what I expect from my Stylist: Time management, skill level (colorist), and she provided some hair education. Allie was easy to communicate with; and most of all, she is confident within her skills. She was not afraid of my curly hair, nor was she bothered by it. Allie from The Owls Nest did my bridal hair as well as the rest of my bridal party on 11/6/21. I had done a TON of online research having first found The Owls Nest Hair Studio on here along with a few other vendors. After speaking with everyone and getting quotes, I started following their Instagram account. After just a few days of looking at posts I realized that every time I saw a hair style I LOVED, it was from The Owls Nest! Once I reached out to them, the owner Allie contacted me the same day and set up the details. We arranged my hair trial and when I met Allie that day I instantly knew she was the perfect fit for me! Allie put me at ease, nothing was too big a deal (discussing my style as well as needs for my other 12 members of the bridal party), and not to mention that she's SUPER talented! I gave a vague description of what I liked/didn't like and 30 minutes later my hair was PERFECT. I’ve been seeing Allie at The Owls Nest for a couple of years now. I always have so much fun chatting with Allie during my cuts and she does a wonderful job with my thick, curly hair. She’s helped me transition from a bad box dye job I did myself to the cutest pixie around to maintaining my curls when I let my hair grow long. The salon is a gorgeous space. Allie did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and my bridal party's hair for my wedding in January!! Everyone’s hair looked fantastic and she moved efficiently through a large bridal party including flower girls, MOB, and MOG. Some of my bridal party was very particular about how they wanted their hair, and she exceeded our expectations! My hair held up my entire night and I was a crazy dancing machine!!
