XSport has been purchased by LA Fitness, No clue what's going on. Nobody gives a straight answer as to the future. I'd have better luck getting a straight answer out of a Magic 8-Ball I had high hopes when the place got bought out, expecting some positive changes. Instead, it's been like watching a slow-motion car crash. The place is filthier than ever, half the equipment is out of commission, and it's been broken since the new owners waltzed in. Oh, and the TVs? Haven't worked since the dawn of this "new era." At this point, I'm convinced the floor hasn't seen a mop since Y2K. My membership renewal's up in December, but honestly, unless they magically transform this dump, I'm out. I can't justify paying premium prices for a gym that looks like a set from a post-apocalyptic movie. It feels like they've given up on the place, and now I'm wondering if they're just counting down the days till they close up shop.

Xsport changed over to LA Fitness in July 2024. #630-246-4603 Beware of Jake, the GM, and Cort, the location manager. Jake will sell you a $246.00 monthly personal training membership whether you want one or not. He will tell you about the free assessment by a personal trainer, saying he discussed it and added it to the conversation. When you tell him you're not interested in the monthly training membership at $246.00, you will be charged for this for months, even if you call the day after the FIRST charge appears on your credit card to say NO, I DIDN'T WANT THAT!. I called and spoke with LA Fitness Corp #1-909-392-1063, and for three months, I've been waiting for a credit to my account; I talked to Cort twice on the phone! And I've canceled everything with this location. The court was originally sympathetic to what I described, and she would fix the situation. On another occasion, she told me I needed to speak with "Jake" because he remembers me "wanting" the service! Really? Because I told you I didn't want the service within 48 hours of you billing my credit card the first time! I'm still dealing with this three months later. I couldn't be more disappointed, upset, and stressed out that I've spoken to people six times about this, and it continues. I will never sign up with another gym again!

Used to come here a while ago and it was always way too packed and all the equipment was always too busy. Now the crowd is less than before so it actually allows you to maximize your time. Hopefully it stays like this with a medium crowd. I do get here after 8 so I'm not sure how it is before that.

Unfortunate to hear that LA Fitness bought out Xsport. Xsport was more affordable than LA and that’s why I left LA in Carol Stream years ago. So now I have to pay over double the price for the same amenities, equipment, etc? I’ll have to reassess when the new billing cycle starts.

Only reason I signed up and keep coming back is because of Paul at the front desk. He was transparent, honest, and got me the membership I needed and has always given me excellent customer service. He has even gone out of his way afterwards to help me out in different situations. If you come in looking to sign up ask for PAUL

Bunch of fat middle aged white women come here starring at you work out. Also, bunch of women in biker shorts thinking they look good. Now they switched to LA fitness and can't even sign in due to their incompetence. Might switch to lifetime.

My email to corporate upon being CONSTANTLY blown off for fitness training here: "I am reaching out about two charges that were charged to my account from xSport Fitness Carol Stream for $212 on 5/16/2024 and 6/17/2024 The charges were for fitness training that I had a terrible experience with. The first charge, I was paired with Marco Brito, he attended 3 of the 5 sessions and the last 2 he scheduled and didn't show up. I learned aftwards he quit and I was NOT informed or followed up with to get a replacement trainer. I had to go out of my own way to find out why Marco was not answering and then I was assigned Julian Catauara. I scheduled a session with Julian, he did not show up or communicate with me that he would not be there. A substitute trainer was available and I was told it would be a "free session" that day. (As if I didn't already get charged $400). The substitute trainer was Quentez Jackson. Quentez scheduled my next session with Julian for that same week, Julian did not confirm with me even when I texted him the morning of to confirm about that afternoon's session. I brought this to the attention of Charlie Fino, the manager, and he informed me Julian went on vacation. At this point I am EXTREMELY disappointed in how trainers are held accountable and the communication process from xSport. Being told I need to contact customer service in order to get a refund is extremely frustrating, and I was told by LA Fitness that they could not refund the (2) $212 charges because they were processed BEFORE LA Fitness. So which is it? Do I need to contact LA Fitness or xSport? My credit company opened an investigation upon this and I am concerned about the refunds. This is completely unacceptable business conduct. If xSport/LA Fitness would have just refunded me the charges, I wouldn't have cancelled my membership. Again- I IMPLORE you to hold the trainers accountable and reassess how communication is done through your business. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE." And they never even apologized for this treatment. When I'd walk into the facility, they'd avoid eye contact. Can't even say sorry.
